Merah's Early Life
Merah lost her parents in Raccoon City Incident in 1998 when she was only 12. Her parents had an important business trip there. Little Merah had this bad feelings about their departure that she told them to stay and don't go, but her parents said the business was very important for them to finish. Little merah had no choice but let go.Few days after that the news about Raccoon City Incident was spread all over the world. The authorities informed Merah's family that both of their parents were died in the incident and the corpses were nowhere to be found since Raccoon City was blown up thoroughly to eradicate the virus.Her grandparents from the mother's side decided to raise her up along with other family members assisted. Merah who revenged the death of her parents, later focused herself to pursue her dream. With all information she had collected, she discovered that she could avenge for her parents' death by joining an organization anti-bioterrorism, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA).Little Merah was interested in Science, so she planned to join the organization to be a scientist there. Her grade was excellent, she got no hindrance to do what she wanted to do.1998-2009
When she was 18, she got a scholarship to attend top university in Indonesia. She took biotechnology major, graduated with summa cum laude predicate. Right after the graduation, she got her admission accepted to be a lab technician in BSAA Far East laboratory located in Singapore.Her excellency in the field created spotlight over her in the first year she worked. Merah was known as the genius scientist who had devoted most of her time to research under the supervision of Doug Wright. Most of her research are about the efficient ways of fighting the B.O.W. They were well-proven by the agents—her research are still used until today. Her contribution in BSAA made a huge impact and helped it to thrive even more in its early years.Around 2009, three years after she joined BSAA, Merah requested to transfer herself to special operation unit in order to put all of her research into realization. She joined Far East Branch's Alpha Team the first time she got transferred.2009-2012
Merah, who spent most of her time to study and read books, had no idea how to use guns by the time she got into Alpha Team. 2009 was the worst year she ever experienced. She grew up becoming the most excellent child in her environment, being called as a mad scientist for three years in her early years in BSAA, and yet becoming the burden to the team. It was new to her and she had to adapt. Unlike most member, Merah had to work herself out twice harder concerning her ability to survive in the battlefield.Before she was ordained as a Special Operation Agent, Merah had been through several missions with Alpha Team. In some occasion she would disobey her captain and went by her own idea. It was her fortune that every time she did that, she brought luck to the team. She was well-known as the mother of the team too, she could handle even in the most stressful situation.A year after, Merah Biji was promoted to be a Special Operations Agent (SOA).
